Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress. She has a prominent role on screen in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. She was awarded the National Film Awards' Best Actress award for portraying Savitri the actor in the Telugu Film Mahanati (2018). Additionally, she was awarded an award from the Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter producer of film G. Suresh Kumar, and actress Menaka G. Suresh. She started her career as a child performer in the early 2000s and was back in films following her studies of fashion design. In 2013, she was the lead in Geethaanjali an Malayalam film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). The first film she acted in outside Malayalam was Idhuenna Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu. The movie didn't do well in the theater. Her first film, A. L. Vijay's romance comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015 alongside Vikram Prbhu. The film was not an immediate success in the box office. In order to fit in more ambitious projects, she needed to cancel films that she'd started working on. They comprised Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Deekay's Kavalaivendam. She consequently worked on two films with Sivakarthikeyan in quick succession, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while also playing the main character in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari along with Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The film's release was delayed in 2015 and now is expected to occur after September in 2020. The film will be released under an alternative title, Janakitho Nenu. In the end, the film's debut was the 2016 film Nenu Sailaja featuring actress Ram Pothineni. Keerthy starred in Bairavaa produced by Bharathan and starring actor Vijay.
